Sauna from Finland concept connects companies around the sauna theme

During this summer sauna has been created as an attraction factor for the Jyväskylä region. The Sauna from Finland concept started in May and has already connected many businesses interested in using the sauna theme.
The sauna theme connects Jyväskylä´s regional businesses from sauna industry, tourism, wellness and service sectors. Companies expect the Sauna from Finland concept to create working networks and good partnerships. This has come up in the survey that Jyväskylä Regional Development Company Jykes Ltd collected during the summer. The survey shows that companies believe that the sauna theme can establish a more positive image of the region, as well as improve regional competitiveness through business development and creating new positions. Companies hope to use the concept in order to find new target markets for their products and new business activities focused around the sauna theme, also including the idea of collective brand interests in marketing.
The development of the sauna theme will continue strongly in the future. Sauna from Finland concept's future development themes will be worked out together with the companies and networking is promoted through different occasions. Next we are continuing with developing business ideas together with the companies and starting networking projects, for example a common export concept created around the sauna theme.
- We want to start pilot projects in which there are numerous companies involved.
