The board of Jykes handles matters concerning the economic life in the region and the operations of Jykes. The board holds a meeting once a month. The chairman of the board is Mr Reijo Laitinen. 

The executive committee prepares matters for the board's discussion.  The chairman of the executive committee is Mr Markku Andersson, Mayor of the City of Jyväskylä.
