Jykes ZAO – a gateway to Russia
Jykes ZAO, the St. Petersburg office of the Jyväskylä Regional Development Company Jykes Ltd, was founded 15 years ago with the aim to promote the business operations of Central Finnish companies in Russia. The main purpose of Jykes ZAO is to help companies in Central Finland to enter the Russian market, to foster trade, and to create new business contacts. Services available to companies include market surveys, interpretation and translation services, as well as arrangements for presentations and meetings with Russian companies and organisation representatives.
Thanks to the long and uninterrupted history of Jykes ZAO, the Jyväskylä region has established itself firmly as a desirable co-operative partner in the St. Petersburg area. In the course of the years, the office has built a substantial co-operative network of Finnish and Russian business development organisations and educational institutions to support the internationalisation of companies in the Jyväskylä region. Important partners include the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce, the city of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. Since 2005, Jykes has also had a St. Petersburg business information centre in Jyväskylä.
